Garden Faery is a sole-proprietor garden care business run by Taya in Arcata, California. By booking a visit or using this website, you agree to these terms. Questions? Email taya@gardenfaery.love.
When you submit the booking form, you are requesting a garden care visit on the date and time you selected. I'll confirm your booking by email and, if you provided a phone number, by SMS. Visits are billed at the hourly rate posted on the site at the time of booking (currently $30/hr). Payment is due at the end of each visit unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
Life happens. You can reschedule or cancel any visit by replying to your confirmation email or texting me. I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Same-day cancellations may be charged a small trip fee at my discretion.
Program name: Garden Faery Booking Alerts
What you get: Appointment confirmations, reschedule notices, and day-before reminders for garden care visits you have booked with Garden Faery. This is a transactional, non-marketing program.
Message frequency: Approximately 1 to 4 messages per booked visit.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply to any messages sent or received.
How to opt in: Provide your phone number on the booking form at gardenfaery.love/book.html and submit a booking. By submitting the form, you consent to receive the messages described above at that phone number.
How to opt out: Reply STOP to any Garden Faery SMS at any time. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further SMS messages will be sent.
How to get help: Reply HELP to any Garden Faery SMS, or email taya@gardenfaery.love.
Supported carriers: Major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: Your phone number and opt-in status are handled per our Privacy Policy and are never shared with third parties for marketing.
I use reasonable care and standard organic-gardening practices. Plants are living things and outcomes can vary based on weather, soil, pests, and prior conditions. I can't guarantee that any specific plant will thrive, but I'll always let you know what I'm seeing.
You're responsible for making sure I can safely access the work area (gate codes, pets secured if that's your preference, etc.). I'll treat your property with care. If I accidentally damage something, please let me know and we'll work it out.
To the extent allowed by California law, Garden Faery's liability for any claim related to a visit is limited to the amount you paid for that visit. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top will change. Continuing to book visits after an update means you accept the updated terms.
